Teja Studio is a brand under the company Rumpun Kita Enterprise. It was established in 2018 after its founder Muhammad Hafiz bin Sulaiman participated in the Tunas Usahawan Belia 2018 program organized by SME Corp with his wife Aida Batrisyia Alumni Textiles Design from UiTM in position of the designers and batik artisan. The name Teja is taken from the name of Malaysia’s independence female fighter, Tun Teja. The name itself is a resemblance by the spirit of fighting to defend the country, as well as an embodiment of the nation’s arts, culture, manners, ethics and decency.
The objective of establishing the company is to popularize art through a community project organized by Teja Studio by providing exposure to the community on the art of handicraft culture. Community projects through art workshops that will be taught by Artisans who are experienced in traditional and modern art disciplines. In addition, the company serves as a design, event consultant and produces art materials for learning as well as crafts. Making social responsibility the main importance besides succeeding in becoming a competitive entrepreneur at the domestic and foreign levels.
At Teja Studio provides art and craft workshops such as Tie & Dye, Batik Canting, Batik Stamping, Art Resin and DIY Totebag.
